New windows dramatically improve the comfort, appearance, and efficiency of your home — and they're a sound investment. Every year Remodeling Magazine surveys hundreds of contractors, realtors, and appraisers in major cities across the country, compiling data to determine the cost of various home improvements and their impact on property values. Garden Windows
Garden windows, most often installed in kitchens, have the effect of making a room seem larger, particularly when countertop material is run out into the base of the unit. These windows come with a glass roof, side venting panels, and a shelf for plants or knick-knacks.

Bay / Bow Windows
Unlike Garden Windows which project out at 90 degrees, Bay and Bow Windows are angled. A Bay will normally have a center Picture Window and two Casement or Vertical Sliding "Flankers." Bow Windows, generally used in very wide openings, are made up of four or more separate panels and don’t extend out as far from the exterior wall.
